Marvel Finally Reveals The Thor: Love And Thunder Next Upcoming Movies

Next up for Marvel Studios is Thor: Love and Thunder.

Thor: Love and Thunder is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the direct sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), and the fourth installment in the Thor franchise and the twenty-ninth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Taika Waititi returns from Ragnarok to direct the film, with a screenplay written by Eric Pearson from a story treatment by Waititi. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, alongside Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Christian Bale also joins the cast in an unspecified role.

The film was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 along with Taika Waititi returning to direct, with Chris Hemsworth returning to star. The film was confirmed to feature Jane Foster as a female version of Thor after she revealed her cancer in Avengers: Endgame. At the same time it was also announced that Natalie Portman would reprise her role as Jane Foster after being absent from

3:Indiana Jones 5

The fifth Indiana Jones movie is officially happening with Harrison Ford returning as the world’s most famous archaeologist. Steven Spielberg will once again direct from a script by David Koepp. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are producing.

The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, who said that Disney is aiming to start filming in 2019 for a release on July 10, 2020. That date was originally reserved for an untitled Pixar Animation film but has since been vacated.

Disney has big plans for the Indiana Jones franchise with plans to reboot the series and eventually pass the torch to a younger actor. It’s not clear if this will be Ford’s final appearance, but it’s certainly possible given his age and the interest in a new version of the character that could attract younger audiences.

Ford’s return is a bit surprising given his comments at Star Wars Celebration last year when he indicated he wasn’t interested in returning to either Han Solo or Indiana Jones anymore: “I think it’s not a bad idea to take a break, think about it for 10 or 15 years, then come back to it and see how you feel about it.” Spielberg had previously said that he hoped Ford would return as Indy

4: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the sequel to Black Panther (2018) and the twenty-fifth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Ryan Coogler, who wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther alongside an ensemble cast. The film was announced in October 2018, with Boseman signed on to return by the end of that year.

In October 2019, after Boseman’s death from colon cancer in August 2020, Marvel confirmed that his role would not be recast. Instead, Coogler is working on a script for a new film set in Wakanda with characters from Black Panther.

5: Avatar 2

Avatar 2 is an upcoming American science fiction film directed, produced, edited, and co-written by James Cameron, produced by 20th Century Studios. It stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore and CCH Pounder. It is the first of four planned sequels to his film Avatar (2009), and will be a continuation of the story. The budget of the sequel is $1 billion.

The film was originally planned for release in December 2014 but has undergone several delays. The film is set to be released on December 17, 2021. The sequels have been filmed together with production having started in September 2017 and are expected to be released in December 2021, 2023 and 2025 respectively.
