You really can’t go wrong with a little R&R in the California desert. It’s almost like a dream, a clear view of the stars and clouds above. Sure, you’d rather be there, but don’t feel bad. How many people can actually say they’ve been to every Coachella since its inception? I mean, you could have witnessed the very moment that underground electronica gained fame. No one said watching it in your pajamas would be as effective. But really, that’s not what this post is about. This post is about how to watch Coachella 2022 from the comfort of your own bedroom.
1: Start a playlist.
Contrary to what you might think, you don’t need to be a DJ to start your own personalized music channel on iTunes. It’s very simple to create a new playlist on iTunes, and once you do, you can add the songs you want onto it. You can even name your playlist after a mood or your favorite band.
Here are the steps to create your own personal music channel in iTunes:
2: Set up a viewing party.
A viewing party is a gathering for friends and family to watch the Super Bowl or other sporting event. It’s a great way to socialize, have fun, and enjoy the thrill of the game.
Invite guests. Send invitations asking them to come to your viewing party on the day of the game. You can send the invitations by email or postal mail.
Prepare food and drinks. Viewing parties are often styled after tailgate parties, so be sure to stock up on plenty of beer and chips. Also consider making some other snacks, like nachos or chili.
Keep guests comfortable. Make sure you have enough seating for everyone who comes over. If you’re hosting a lot of people, you may want to set up some folding chairs in addition to your usual furniture.
Party! When game day arrives, welcome everyone to your home and serve food and drinks in front of the television as you cheer on your favorite team together!
3: Staion yourself in front of the TV.
If you want to keep the party going, you can set up a TV in front of the fireplace. You can either use your main TV or get a smaller one just for the fireplace. Just be sure that you buy something with a good picture quality or everyone will start to notice the bad pixels.
Now you can enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows as if you were in your own personal movie theater. When it’s time to turn in for the night, just switch off the TV and enjoy the ambiance of the fire.
4: Make your own festival food and drinks.
Create unique festival food and drinks that your guests will love.
Food and drinks are what’s going to keep your party going, so you want to make sure you have enough to go around. And while it’s easy to just buy a bunch of pre-packaged snacks and drinks, you can also make your own!
You can create your own signature drink or serve up some signature cocktails. You can also serve up some delicious festival foods like nachos, popcorn, and ice cream.
5: Coachella is a great event to watch from home because you don’t have to drive home afterward!
Coachella is a great event to watch from home because you don’t have to drive home afterward! The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place over two weekends every April in Indio, California.
The first weekend is underway right now, and the second will take place next weekend. If you’re not lucky enough to be there in person, you can watch it on YouTube via the live stream below. Or, if you just want to see select sets, check out our guide on how to find them.
The YouTube live stream includes multiple channels so viewers can choose what they want to watch. That’s a lot of content, so we’ve compiled a list of the most popular artists appearing on the live stream this year.
Headliners include Beyonce (who was supposed to perform last year but had to cancel due to her pregnancy), The Weeknd, Eminem, and more. Scroll down for the full list of acts appearing on this year’s live stream.
This guide is merely a list of things to do to enhance the Coachella experience when you’re not onsite, with a specific focus on ways to watch the live streams. Many of these will have been improved upon or changed by the time 2022 rolls around, so this is a living document that will be updated annually as new information becomes available. If you have suggestions for additions or changes to make, please feel free to leave us a comment.
